GENERAL RETURNS POLICY:

We are committed to your satisfaction and will accept returns of any stock item you purchase on our site. We ask that you ship returns to us within three weeks of the time you receive your order. Please include a copy of your sales receipt with the return. For your convenience, we include an "Authorized Returns Form" in each shipment. Using this form and the shipping label attached will streamline the process for each of us. Returns must be shipped prepaid. We recommend using UPS or Fed Ex over USPS so that you have tracking and delivery confirmation.

We cannot accept returns of items that have become damaged, worn, or soiled. CDs and VHS tapes cannot be opened and clothing tags must still be intact. If you feel an exception to this policy is warranted, please consult with us Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM Eastern Standard Time by phone (800) 624-4080 (toll free) or e-mail store@cornell.edu before shipping the merchandise.

In the rare case that your shipment contains a defective item or we accidentally sent you the wrong item, we will ship you a replacement at no charge and credit the cost of your return shipping charges once your return is received. If you don't wish to receive a replacement item, we will credit your account for the merchandise amount. Please attach a brief note explaining the defect or indicate on your receipt the item shipped in error.

All returns refunds will be credited to the bank/charge card or account used for the purchase transaction.

Please be aware that special order items, such as Cornell Chairs, cannot be returned.

COMPUTER HARDWARE & ELECTRONICS RETURN POLICY:

Computer hardware may be returned up to (7) seven calendar days under the following conditions:
- Unopened stock computer hardware may be returned within (7) seven calendar days for a full refund with a valid receipt.
- A 20% restocking fee will apply on all opened returned items.
- Opened product must be returned undamaged, include all packaging materials, and be in resalable condition.
- Credit given only on Store Gift Card. Special or Build-to-Order Computers may be returned up to (7) seven calendar days from the date of purchase with a valid receipt and are subject to the following restocking fees.

Some exclusions may apply:
- Unopened Box 20%. Opened Box 25%. Opened product must be returned undamaged, include all packaging materials, and be in resalable condition.
- Build-to-Order or custom computer orders that are cancelled after shipping from the manufacturer are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Computer hardware & electronics cannot be returned after (7) seven calendar days from date of purchase.
- Computer upgrades and clearance hardware CANNOT be returned or exchanged.
- Defective products may be exchanged for the same product within (7) seven calendar days.
- Opened consumables of any kind CANNOT be returned. This includes printer cartridges, computer media, and some software.
- Defective computer hardware & electronics will be repaired or replaced at our discretion up to (7) seven calendar days from date of purchase. After (7) seven calendar days, defective computer hardware and electronics are subject to the manufacturer's warranty.

SHIPPING POLICY:

Domestic shipping costs will automatically be calculated and added to your shopping cart.

Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico orders will have shipping and handling costs calculated offline and you will be notified of all charges before your order is processed. For these orders we will need your credit card bank name and phone number for verification. Please reply to the confirmation email you will receive when completing your order with that information.

Domestic shipping costs, based on order totals, are as follows:

Up to $24.99 = $7.00
$25.00 - $99.99 = $10.00
$100.00 - $149.99 = $15.00
$150.00 - $199.99 = $20.00
$200.00 - $249.99 = $25.00
$250.00 - $348.99 = $30.00
$350.00 - $448.99 = $35.00
$450.00 - $499.99 = $40.00
$500.00 and up = 10% of order

We normally ship by UPS ground service, which should arrive within three to five BUSINESS DAYS of shipping.
(Cornell Chairs and Diploma Frames allow 4-6 weeks for delivery)

NOTE: We cannot ship to a PO box.

Express Delivery (2nd Day Air) is also available but extra shipping charges will apply. We do not ship on Saturdays & Sundays. You will choose the shipping method for your order in the checkout process. Please note that couriers will only deliver to a street address.
